I don’t have time to pack up my belongings. Can you help me?

Yes. Livingston Moving Companies offers professional packing services for your local and interstate move. We have all of the packing supplies needed to wrap up your valuables and furniture. We take the time needed to pack your items carefully to ensure that they do not break while on the truck.

Will you protect my furniture when you move it?

Yes. We know how important your furniture is to you and if your furniture is not protected, the table legs may become damaged or scratches may occur. Our team will take the time needed to wrap the legs of your furniture and protect the upholstery to prevent any damage.

Can my animals be in my home on move day?

When it comes to your animals, you have a couple of options available. It is recommended that your animals are not home during the move, so you may choose to board them or have a babysitter for them, but if that is not an option, then you may want to see if someone else can watch them. If your animals do need to be in your home on move day, you should keep them in a separate room or in a carrier, so that they are out of the way and protected.

Do my movers accept tips?

Yes. Your movers can accept tips, but you do not have to give them one, although it is appreciated. It is a personal decision to tip your movers and you should do it based on the service you receive and your personal discretion, too.

Do I need to do anything to prepare my furniture on move day?

No. You do not need to prepare your furniture for our movers. Our movers will pack up and move your furniture as they see fit. We do not want you to burden yourself with the worry of lifting heavy items.

Do I need to be home when the movers arrive?

Yes. You should be home when the movers arrive at your house. The reason behind this is because our movers will need to go over some information with you and you will need to show them what items will be placed on the moving truck and which items will stay with you.
